

















1st Day of FDP Programme:
Our institution, NRI Institute of Technology, has hosted a four-day (3rd-6th July 2019) Faculty
Development Programme(FDP), Instructional Design and Delivery Systems(IDDS) which is
organised by National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research(NITTTR), Chennai.
The programme aims at serving teachers’ teaching the technical aspects to students in
engineering colleges to enhance their teaching competence in order to meet the needs of
today’s generation.
The Principal Dr. Ch. Naga Bhaskar, Dean of CSE, IT and MCA, Dr. K.V. Samba Siva Rao,
Programme Convener and Head of Freshman Engineering Department Dr. G. Devendra Raja,
Programme Coordinator Mr. D. Srinivasulu and the teaching staff have attended the inaugural
session conducted at the Seminar Hall. While speaking on this occasion, The Principal has
advised the younger teaching staff about the efficacy of such programmes, which is the need of
the hour in the field of education.
One of the resource persons Dr. C. R. Nagendra Rao, Professor and Head, NITTTR-AP Extension
Centre, Vijayawada is going to handle the classes for first two days, followed by sessions of Dr.
K. S. Giridharan, Assistant Professor, Department of Engineering Education, NITTTR, Chennai.
2st Day of FDP Programme:
The resource person Dr. C. R. Nagendra Rao, Professor and Head, NITTTR-AP Extension Centre,
Vijayawada has handled the sessions for the second day as well.
